A passion project with a thunderstorm origin story
It started on a stormy night — no electricity, no plans, just me and my wife looking for something to do.
We wanted to play Bollywood trivia together. So we pulled out a phone and started searching. Every site we found was either a single static quiz with no variety, or buried under so many ads it wasn't worth playing. None of them let you filter by category, era, or difficulty. None of them felt made for someone who actually loves films.
That frustration stuck with me. A few weeks later, I started building FilmyIQ.
FilmyIQ is that place. It started with Bollywood — over 2,000 questions covering 300+ movies across 11 categories, 7 eras of Hindi cinema, and a new daily challenge every day. Hollywood and Korean Wave are coming next.
No accounts. No paywalls. Just film trivia, done right.
